Chaweng Noi, Koh Samui.
A bay lined with very high-end hotels, and hills with panoramic views, just south of Chaweng.

Just south of Chaweng, beyond the headland, the bay of Chaweng Noi is shorter and calmer, and lined with a few very high-end hotels. The beach itself is open to everyone, but public access points are few and far between, which gives it an almost private feel. The sand is fine and the water clear, good for swimming for much of the year. Above it, the hills facing the Gulf of Thailand are among the best places on the island for a villa with panoramic sea views.
From the higher ground above the bay, the view often stretches from Chaweng Bay to Koh Phangan in the north and Crystal Bay in the south, and every morning the sun rises straight out of the sea. Yet daily life remains simple: Chaweng's restaurants, supermarkets, international hospitals, gyms and shops are 5–10 minutes away, and Central Samui shopping centre around 10 minutes.
In terms of access, the airport is 15–20 minutes away by car and Lamai around 10 minutes along the coast road. Just to the south, Coral Cove, a small cove framed by granite boulders, and Crystal Bay are among the prettiest swimming spots in the area. The roads up into the hills can be steep in places, which is why we always tell you exactly how each villa is reached.
The market is mostly made up of sea-view villas on the hillsides, often with an infinity pool and large terraces, for buyers who put the view above everything else. Every house is different, often designed around the view, with large living spaces opening wide onto the sea. Properties here are rare and much sought after: peaceful, yet just minutes from Chaweng, with good rental potential among visitors looking for an exceptional view.
